Design and Form
After finalizing the layout and design of your new luxury fiberglass pool, obtaining HOA approval, and securing local permits, we’ll arrange an on-site meeting at your home.
We’ll map out your vision with you using our state-of-the-art design software. We’ll show you your new backyard overlaid with your exact house and backyard dimensions.
Excavation
Our hard-working crews will excavate the hole where your new fiberglass pool will be placed.
Gravel Foundation
After the excavation is complete, we will place a 2-inch thick layer of gravel in the hole which the in-ground fiberglass pool will rest on.
This gravel base determines the height of the fiberglass pool so we use a laser level to set the gravel at precisely the right elevation.
Plumbing and Filter Systems
A fiberglass pool filter system includes two major components:
- The pool pump, and
- The pool filter
At the filter system you also typically find other elements such as valves that control the flow of water, salt water chlorinators (if you own one), a switch for the pool light, and a heater if desired. We’ll house the pool pump and filter system out of plain view, so you and your company can enjoy pool time without clunky equipment interrupting your peace of mind.
Backfilling the Pool Shell
Once the plumbing is complete, and the pool is set and leveled, it’s time to start filling the pool with water and backfilling around the outside with gravel. We’ll have the gravel on the outside and the water on the inside brought up together to equalize your pool’s pressure. We’ll also install a drain pipe during this phase. This pipe ensures clean water in case the pool requires draining. Our electrician will have begun wiring the pool equipment in this phase. As soon as the pool is full, we start filling your new fiberglass pool with water.
Coping and Decking
With your new fiberglass pool filled and inspected, our team is ready to install the coping around the top of the pool shell and pool patio. Installation times vary depending on the size of the patio and the material used. In this phase, we lock the pool shell into place.
Relax and Enjoy!
After exploring your beautiful new fiberglass pool together, we’ll leave you with final pool care instructions and hand over all corresponding warranties to you. Now, it’s time to relax and enjoy your new fiberglass pool!
